You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Security Department, Operations Division, Physec Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will be the focal point and subject matter expert for coordinating PHYSEC plans and procedures integrated with other security and operational disciplines.
You will supervise and maintain operation of a Physical Security program and assist in oversight of other security disciplines, provide informational briefs, and act as an advisor to program/project personnel.
You will analyze data related to facility planning and assessments, makes sound recommendations to management, and coordinates internally and externally for implementation of management direction.
You will provide guidance on policy, scheduling and inspections; review survey findings; develops and maintains data bases as needed in addition to requirements.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1.) Demonstrating experience supervising or leading a security team in conducting physical security tasks such as inspections, building assessments, electronic security system infrastructure and maintenance. 2.) Experience in conducting physical security, threat, and vulnerability assessments and experience documenting findings. 3.) Demonstrating experience briefing leadership and customers on security findings, identifying corrections, and coordinating with stakeholders to arrive at a feasible solution. 4.) Conducting follow up inspections to determine solution has been implemented, finding is resolved and solution is effective.
