The Wilson Center is one of the three special institutions created by congressional statute to perform a national mission in affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution. It is governed by its own presidentially appointed Board of Trustees and supported by public and private funds. The Center conducts and sponsors original scholarship and convenes balanced and inclusive dialogue through its programs, which cover all regions of the world and several major global issues.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have at least one (1) year of specialized work experience equivalent to the IS-6 grade level (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following types of duties:
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations related to procurement and contracting policies and procedures, accountable property and inventory management, and purchase card usage and tracking.
Experience using an automated accounting system for activities such as creating and amending purchase orders, vendor payment inquiry, vendor enrollment status, and obligation report generation is required.
Experience using Financial Edge (FE) and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) for these procurement activities is preferred.
Analytical ability, tact, and skill in dealing with staff.
Knowledge of MS SharePoint is highly desired for setting up and utilizing platform for workflow processing, document management and retrieval, tracking and audit trail management.
Basic knowledge of accounting transaction management, including reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules and information summaries.
