Duties
As a Supervisory Program Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- This position requires Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Advanced certification in Program Management.
- Applicants that do not meet the above requirement are eligible to be hired but must obtain Program Management Advanced certification within four years after the first day of starting in the position.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience and knowledge with acquisition program management and processes, program management; contract planning, and administration; project planning; and software and systems development life cycle.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
1. Acquisition Strategy - Knowledge of the principles and methods for developing an integrated acquisition management plan that describes the business, technical, and support strategies, including the relationship between the acquisition phases, work efforts, and key program events (for example, decision points, contract awards, test activities).
2. Program Planning, Review and Evaluation - Continuing analyses of program effectiveness, efficiency, cost effectiveness, schedule adherence and measurement of program accomplishments and results.
3. Leadership - Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations.
4. Stakeholder Management - Concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence, and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to a work effort; including those actively involved, those who exert influence over the process and its results, and those who have a vested interest in the outcome (positive or negative).
5. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
