The purpose of this position is to provide patient transportation and escort for patients referred to other facilities from the IHS hospital in Fort Yates, ND.

Duties
Operates a wide range of vehicles to transport patients, personnel and/or supplies to and from designated locations.
Performs preventative maintenance services required.
May have to physically assist some patients who may require help entering and exiting the vehicle.
Cleans offices, storerooms, corridors, stairways, hospital rooms and wards, etc. Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, waxes, polishes floors using brooms, mops, light and heavy types of vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
Dusts, waxes and polishes furniture.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience.
