About the Position: Located at the USAJFKSWCS, YUMA PROVING GROUND / YUMA / ARIZONA.

Duties

Serves as the Company Supply Specialist for the Military Free Fall School (MFFS) comprised of Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and civilian personnel. Prepares and develops contracts and enclosures for services and products required to maintain equipment necessary to sustain company sections. Oversees the management, maintenance, posting and security of an automated, non-standard/classified property book.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required is 5%.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • A pre-employment physical is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Provide technical advice pertinent to policies and processes of armament property and supply requisitioning, accountability, and disposal. 2) Resolve issues in inventory management, property accountability and disposal of sensitive property; 3) Develops and implements internal control systems to ensure armament resources are efficiently and effectively managed. 4) Receive, issue, and inspect incoming and outgoing weapons for damages, accountability, and cleanliness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Management field(s) of study. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Inventory ManagementSupply PlanningTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
