You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPTARTMENT, BUSINESS & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will administer financial management policies and procedures to meet agency goals.
You will analyze historical and current trends using financial data reports and tools.
You will compile information from multiple sources to create financial management or budget reports.
You will evaluate supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports to verify timeliness, accuracy, and validity.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: Level 2.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Compiling, analyzing, and summarizing financial and/or budgetary information related to an organization's financial programs; 2) Translating organizational needs and objectives into budget dollars and the funding actions required to accomplish them; 3) Using common budget and/or finance practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, policies, and guides to relate needs and accomplishments of the organization to anticipated or actual dollar figures in budget; and 4) Serving as a continuous process improvement expert while utilizing Lean/Six-Sigma/5-S to identify and analyze budgetary problems and develop alternative solutions.
