These positions are Multiple Schedules temporary appointment not-to-exceed one year with potential to be extended for an additional one year for a maximum of two years based on agency needs and potential funding.

Duties
Implementing forest restoration projects involving fuel and biomass reduction.
Operating chainsaws to thin trees 20 inches diameter or less. Buck and limb downed trees.
Chip wood debris and construct burn piles.
Assist with prescribed fire and pile burning.
Rehabilitate work areas to natural conditions.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment.

Knowledge of materials
