Duties

You will have basic understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures to examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports. You will do technical work in support of the receipt, disbursements, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods. You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government, satisfaction. You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintaining ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data. You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government.

Requirements

  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Education

Specialized experience can be substituted with the following education:
  • 2 years above high school
Experience and education can be combined to equate to one year of experience. Percentage of the required education plus percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
