This position is located at US Mint,Headquarters-Off of the Dir/Chief Administrative Officer/Human Capital Directorate. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering human capital programs, advice, products, and services to the United States Mint, which includes headquarters in Washington, DC, four manufacturing facilities (Denver, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and West Point), and the Bullion Depository in Fort Knox, KY.

Duties

As an Administrative Officer, you will: Oversee and coordinate the Office of the Director, Human Capital Directorate's administrative programs and policy. Provide leadership in the flow of staff papers, reports, controlled correspondence, analyses, and recommendations. Research information and provide status reports, updates, and other information to the Human Capital Director. Work directly with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment packages for new hires.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-12 is one (1) year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows: Performing administrative activities which may include researching information from a variety of program offices to resolve issues; Reviewing proposed amendments to policies, regulations or Handbooks to evaluate the impact of changes on the administrative functions of the office; AND Observing management activities within the office to identify issues and make recommendations for improvements and/or corrective action; AND Conducting budget planning and execution. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12 you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
