About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Moore, Ga. The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Duties

Coordinate and negotiate with education institutions to establish education and/ training programs. Determine the education needs of installation personnel through Needs Assessments, interest inventory surveys, discussions with Commanders, and through program and service delivery levels. Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with colleges and universities for programs, facilities, staff, marketing, administration, admission qualifications, fees, courses, equipment, and instruction IAW with Army and DoD regulatory guidance. Supervise, directs and coordinates a staff of professional, technical, clerical and support personnel. Serve as an Education Services Officer (ESO) with responsibility for planning, developing, and managing an installation-level education system and Credentialing Program, which include satellite centers at geographically-separated locations. Serves as on-site Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for Army Continuing Education System specific central contracts for education services.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
• Supervisory probation may be required.
• In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Emergency-Essential". Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure, Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450, and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
