Duties

Development of plans and programs for achieving and maintaining product quality throughout the item's life cycle. Monitor operations to prevent the production of defects and to verify adherence to quality plans and requirements. Serve as an organizational representative on teams or committees outside the organization. Perform assignments in technical support aspects of substantive mission-oriented programs. Interact independently and proactively with customers. Apply knowledge, experience and critical judgment in making major compromises to satisfy overall technical requirements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• Three-year probationary period may be required under the demonstration project Family unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
