About the Position: This position is located with the US Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison Fort McCoy, Directorate of Emergency Services at Ft. McCoy, WI. Fort McCoy is located in west-central Wisconsin, midway between Chicago and Minneapolis, just off Interstates 90 & 94. Duties

Conduct mission analysis to recommend appropriate manpower and resources. Analyze mission requirements and assets to develop plans for DES resources. Serve as approving official for the Government Credit Card Approving/Billing Official. Procure supplies and services through the use of automated systems.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Work may require irregular and/or weekend hours.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid state drivers' license for operation of government vehicles in the performance of work.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 upon entering the position and annually.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in conducting analyses to determine manpower and resources requirements; assist in preparing statistical data using automated systems; or assist in preparing solicitations for contract administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityComputer LiteracyFinancial ManagementPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
