Duties

Provides higher officials in identifying and resolving accounting and other fiscal discrepancies in support of IMWRF analysts. Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of documents. Assists in the development of a yearly NAF budget; process, analyze, consolidate financial data, ensuring that budget adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures. Serves as a primary point of contact for Soldiers on their submission for allocation of deployment funding quarterly. Prepare and issue control documents (Petty Cash, Spoilage, Transfer Between Activities). Audit and verify petty cash usage and reimbursement; and verify Sam?s Club card usage and payment; and Administers government purchase card program. Verifies purchase orders and invoices with payment for agreement prior to effecting payments. Performs cashier duties. Maintains, collects assigned subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable, accounts payable, unearned income, annual leave payable, equipment, prepaid items, etc. Participates in surprise cash count and internal control inspection visits and sampling methods and procedures.

Qualifications

Ability to type and operate a personal computer. 5. Knowledge of operation and functions of personal computers to provide problem solving resolution and service to users 6. Highly desirable: Knowledge of Non-appropriated Fund practices, regulations, and guidance materials and NAF Small Purchases. Best Qualified Criteria: 1. Experience in budget formulation, maintaining subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable, accounts payable 2. Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites: word-processing, spreadsheets and database applications.
