This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Rocky Mountain Region in Billings, Montana. The incumbent will plan and develop administrative practices for Real Estate administration and provide technical assistance to staff, division management, landowners, and Tribal officials to improve the economic status of stakeholders discharging the government's trust responsibility.
Duties
Work which involves the administration practices and procedures for the execution of trust real estate services.
Program Coordination (Tribes, other Regional trust branches, Appraisals, LTRO, and Central Office)
Program execution of acquisition and dispositions, community and economic development, natural resources management and rights protection and litigation support

Qualifications
GS-13 Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector.
Specialized experience is defined as: preparing standard operating procedures documents related to the Regional Real Estate Program, including budget recommendations and justifications as requested. Coordinates program activities with tribes, field offices, other regional branches, AVSO, LTRO, Probate, Central Office, and other federal land management agencies, as needed. Performs program case work involving acquisitions and disposals, land transfers, surface and subsurface leases, rights-of-way and provides alternatives/solutions to land title problems.
