This position is located in the Theater within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department of the Southwest Region. The primary purpose of this .position is to sell snack food and beverage items to patrons of the snack bar. Also prepares simple foods and pfepackaged snacks that require heating, and ensure cleaniness of snack bar.

Qualifications

Cash handling experience preferred. Knowledge of basic arithmetic. Knowledge to read.and understand written material. Knowledge of sanitation requirements and personal hygiene standards. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with others. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to provide necessary pre-employment documentation within 3 days of hire. Must present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times. Must develop a working knowledge of the activities and assigned area of responsibility. Work requires prolonged standing, walking, bending and stooping. Lifts and moves objects weighing over 40 pounds. Duties are performed primarily in a retail snack bar. Works indoors with adequate lighting, heating and ventilation. Subject to cuts, bruises, bums, chapped hands, slippery floors, hot liquids, and sharp items. Care is required to avoid serious injuries when floor is wet or from spills from food and liquids.
