This position is located at DFMWR, Business Operations Division and may be filled at The Flightline or Silver Wings Golf Course. This position is a FLEX position. FLEX positions can be worked anywhere between 0 - 40 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed. Duties

Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
• Certificate of Medical Examination required.
• Attend Team Member Orientation within 30 days of employment.
• Must have availability to work, days, evenings weekends and holidays.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Incumbent is required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children's Festival and Winterfest.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Be able to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds. 2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Best Qualified Qualifications: Possess at least three (3) months of food handling experience and customer service experience in an establishment. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first.
