About the Position: Serves as a Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist supporting the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), Brigade virtual recruiting operations efforts. Works under the direction of the Brigade Commander with direct support from USAREC HQs G3 Virtual Recruiting Division. Serves as the virtual recruiting staff expert, developing modern and engaging content to support the Brigade Commander's efforts to conduct digital recruiting operations.

Duties

Serve as the Assistant Contracting Officer Reprehensive (ACOR) to the contracted Battalion level social media managers and lead digital strategist and liaison for Brigade?s Virtual Recruiting Stations. Advise the Command on web public information policy formulation and the potential public reaction to proposed programs and activities of the Command. Manage the overall planning and execution of the Brigade?s, recruiting social media program covering Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, YouTube, Flickr, and other social platforms as they arise. Plan social media strategies and content requirements to address USAREC?s Brigade communication focus areas, priorities and missions. Measure, analyze and report on performance of social media posts deriving actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates and loyalty, and increase awareness among core audiences. Oversee a database of pictures, images, graphic icons, statistical graphs, subject matter information and other in-house graphics that are tailored to the brigades top priority segments and markets. Researches new and innovative tools, programs, systems, software, services and social media industry trends to maintain the battalion?s currency and relevance with social media efforts and strategies. Provides updates to brigade and USAREC headquarters regarding upcoming social media activity to coordinate amplifying coverage at higher levels. Understands how to access social media platform metrics and assist the Advertising and Public Affairs Chief with compiling reports. Ensures all social media pages within the battalion?s footprint maintain consistent messaging and provide accurate, policy-compliant, engaging and timely information. Engage with audiences on the battalion?s social media platforms, provide content to support recruiting company and center-level social media pages, and will work with social media counterparts at the recruiting brigade and USAREC headquarters.
