About the Position: Headquarters, US Army Forces Command Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with rural and city populations, co-located at Fayetteville, NC centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys a temperate year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities. Fayetteville is centrally located between the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.

Duties

Works as part of the G-6 FORSCOM Information Technology IT Governance Division to support both the Strategic Plans and Resource Requirements Branches. Identifies and translates IT operational concepts, policies, and procedures proposed by higher commands into realistic guidance and workable operational procedures for the command. Monitors IT activities to measure progress in achieving objectives. Interprets higher headquarters policies and guidance pertinent to IT.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
  • Required to obtain and maintain SECRET Security Clearance.
  • TDY travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
  • This is an Army Drug Testing position.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
