Duties
Tracks and monitors the Client Executive Budget for Defense Agencies and Army. Analyzes budget trends for spend planning as well as tracking/processing monthly accruals from both directorates.
Determines the proper distribution of the organization?s annual and quarterly operating budget and relays recommendations to the office.
Maintains control of all Requests for Personnel Actions, SF-52s
Determines availability of funds, method of purchase, and initiates actions required to acquire desired items.
Requirements

- Time after Competitive Appointment: Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-6) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-6 or higher grade in Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined: as providing administrative, technical and general office support duties to an organization including serving as a point of contact for internal and external customers to provide general and technical information about an organization; using computer software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to prepare, edit and format reports and briefings; AND at least one of the following duties: Providing administrative and technical support to travelers including troubleshooting travel and system issues in an automated travel system OR using an automated time and attendance system to perform timekeeping administration functions for an organization

Education
GS-07 (1-grade interval) Substitution of Education for Experience: One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
