You will serve as a Maintenance Overhaul and Repair Supervisor in the MRO Production Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will provide direction to subordinate supervisors, work leaders and Production Shop members and other personnel. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinate Shop dedicated/ assigned members, set and adjust priorities and oversees development of schedules for completion of work. You will make recommendations to Production Branch Head as appropriate concerning numbers of resources, overtime and other logistical support requirements, changes to previously planned work schedules, etc. You will establish goals and develop improvement initiatives.

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
