You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist responsible for applying extensive knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques or collection management systems to complex work assignment related to the Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) fields. You will evaluate, interpret, and integrate all-source intelligence and open source information into top-level ACINT assessments.
Duties
You will perform ACINT analysis and intelligence production in answer to current requirements from operational forces and intelligence community customers.
You will utilize knowledge of intelligence collection, collation, research and production, and their respective roles in service level intelligence.
You will prepare and produce initiative reports and briefs for executive level audiences that demonstrate extensive knowledge and comprehensive analytical expertise.
You monitor and evaluate the work of the unit.
You will make decisions that impact the resources (people, budget, materials) of the work unit.
You will collaborate and interact with senior intelligence community analysts or experts in assigned area(s).
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Ensure Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) analysis and intelligence production are related to intelligence gaps and collection requirements;
2) Evaluate all-source intelligence information to produce tailored intelligence products;
3) Interpret and integrate all-source and open source information into top-level intelligence assessments.
