The incumbent of this position serves as an Administrative Officer (AO) within the Air Traffic Organization, Eastern Service Area, Washington District.
Duties
Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Applies experience and detailed knowledge to plan and accomplish assignments.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-G/FG/GS-10/11, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F/FG/GS-5-9 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience may include, but is not limited to:Experience applying policies and procedures to FAA administrative programs. Such programs include administrative programs affecting the organization; OR financial management; coordinating budget matters, analyzing budget/fiscal reports, financial management, logistics, purchasing and other finance-based programs, processes and systems affecting an organization.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Substitution of Education
FV-G Level: Ph.D, or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years progressively higher level graduate education leading toward such a degree or LL.M., if related.

Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. educational institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university. A copy of the evaluation results MUST be included in your application package. If you do not include a copy of the evaluation as part of your application package, your foreign education will not be considered.
