This position is located at the Great Lakes Marina Lake Front, Recreation Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station, Great Lakes, Illinois. Thus purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Lake Front facilities.
Duties
Ensures the efficient operation of the Beach House. Maintains registration logs and rental agreements of all guest, and answers questions pertaining to advance registrations. May include some cash handling in certain situations.
Requirements
- Must pass all applicable records and background check.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

A qualified candidate possess the following:
Knowledge Required by the Position:
Knowledge of Marina, Outdoor Recreation and Lake Front operations, rules and regulations to provide oversight over Lake Front patrons.
Knowledge gained by dealing with customers in a recreation setting.
Knowledge of basic tools and outdoor equipment (mowers, clippers) to maintain the grounds in and around the Lake Front.
Valid driver's license to be able to operate motor vehicles and other miscellaneous equipment.
Education
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
