This position is located in the MINT - Manufacturing Department, Cash Division. The purpose of the position is to provide administrative and technical supervision in all aspects of Material Handling operations. The position supervises subordinate worker to accomplish the work of the Division: Planning, Work Direction, Administration, Labor management Relations & EEO.

Duties

As a Materials Handler Supervisor, you will: Manage, direct, and serve as a technical representative administratively in all aspects of Material Handling operations. Be responsible for the receipt, storage custody of valuables, shipments of domestic coin and bullion, and receipt and shipments of coinage materials, equipment, and supplies. Plan and schedule work, sequence of operations, manpower, equipment, materials, and tools on a month to month and longer basis for the overall use of subordinate personnel (e.g. prepares monthly shipping schedule based on information provided by Headquarters). Assign and explain work requirements, methods and procedures, define the standards of quality and quantity to be met to subordinates, and provides advice when problems arise. Implement corrective actions within authority to resolve work problems. Recommend solutions to staffing problems and work operations directed by other supervisors. Coordinate work with the division office and other divisions/branches as necessary.
