Duty Location: Yakima, Washington
Duties
Operates and maintains fish ladders, fish screens, and their associated facilities and equipment.
Coordinates effectively with management, peers, subordinates, water, environmental and power stakeholders representatives, contractors, state and other Federal agency representatives, and the public.
Supervises a diverse group of bargaining board craftspeople who are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of fish operations and maintenance (O&M) facilities.
Plans and schedules routine, corrective, and non-routine maintenance and work activities to safely and reliably provide water and power. Manages all facility operations and maintenance fieldwork to accomplish program and mission requirements as directed by the Yakima Field Office (YFO) manager.
