Serves as the Air Traffic Manager at Salt Lake City TRACON, level 10 facility.

Duties

Incumbent directs a highly technical work force, including functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel that provide air traffic control services throughout a geographic area. The work impacts the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of aircraft as well as segments of the aviation industry.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

• Interview Policy: Some, all or none of the candidates may be interviewed.
• Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period Requirement: A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you:1. Must have held an FAA 2152 FG-14/FV-J or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks);OR2. Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility (NOTE: An employee who has been facility-rated or area-certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since he/she has been performing the higher-graded work);OR3. Must have held a MSS position or above for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.4. In addition to the qualifications listed above for this MSS-4 position, you must have held the MSS-3 or above; or an FG-2152-14 or above Regional or Headquarters position for 1 year (52 weeks) [IAW Qualification Requirements for AT-2152 Terminal and En Route Positions (Revision 1) dated 11/08/99].
