You will serve as a Supply Technician of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will conduct causative research investigations and analysis of unresolved inventory discrepancies, inventories of sensitive items, and classified items.
You will enter corrective transactions into multiple supply databases.
You will coordinate and work with warehouse personnel to replace missing or damaged barcode bin labels and resolve identification/physical material discrepancies.
You will perform physical inventory adjustments for scheduled/unscheduled inventories, records reconciliation, and surveys.
You will process the adjustments of discrepancies once they are resolved.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in order to perform complex assignments and conduct extensive searches for required information in order to resolve issues related to physical inventory and distribution, material requisitioning, receipt and issue control systems; Examples of specialized experience may include the following:1) Assist in conducting research and analysis to determine the causes of unresolved inventory discrepancies;2) Assist in making determinations and recommendations based on knowledge of local supply requirements to meet the customer needs;3) Examine items received, notes overages, shortages or any damage in shipping and prepares detailed reports;4) Use automated supply databases to maintain inventory records;5) Applying various quality control methods, principles, and practices, including sampling techniques and statistical analysis.
