About the Position: The position will be working for the I Corps Senior Commander G3 Operations/Plans/FI/Training Plans Division at JBLM, WA.
Duties
Serve as the Army's Stryker Warfighting Forum (SWfF) Subject Matter Expert (SME) and military analyst and advisor to the Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) Senior Mentor
Recommend courses of action to satisfy and ensure compliance with directives.
Evaluate published requirements documentation then develop additional guidance to subordinates and staffs, to include: anticipating future changes and milestones required to activate, inactivate, or reorganize units) and the fielding of new systems.
Monitor the progress of new equipment fieldings, coordinate and recommend issue resolution as the I Corps Commanders? interface between units and fielders, and conduct follow-up actions to complete successful fieldings.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time to attend conferences.
