You will serve as a Facilities Support Assistant in the Administration Department of NAVENPVNTMEDU 5 SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate and carry out facility support services.
You will ensure the necessary maintenance, repairs, alterations and/or modifications are accomplished for all facilities.
You will provide advice and recommendations on room configurations, space, audiovisual needs and equipment/facilities maintenance.
You will interpret regulations, directives and standard operating procedures to be used within the command.
You will use a variety of office automation software to compose correspondence and maintain records.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience inspecting facilities to determine the state of repair and requirements for immediate or long range maintenance.
Experience networking/coordinating with internal and external entities regarding maintenance, repairs, alterations or modifications of facilities.
Experience maintaining records to keep track of work and service orders.
Experience using spreadsheets, database management and word processing software to maintain budgeting data/equipment and supply inventories, and prepare requisitions, reports and memoranda.
