Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, in Williston, Vermont.
This is a bargaining unit position that it is not currently covered by a bargaining unit agreement

You qualify for the GS-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:-
Maintaining financial ledgers alone or under the guidance of more senior employees;
Recording financial transactions alone or under the guidance of more senior employees and;
Preparing for the payment of various invoices and/or vouchers alone under the guidance of more senior employees.
OR
Education: Four years above high school. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GS-6 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-5 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Examining and verifying accounting data for invoice payment transactions;
Preparing or completing the coding of all authorized payment documents for services ensuring accordance with regulations; and
Ensuring transactions are properly processed and total activity agrees with predetermined control totals.
You qualify for the GS-7 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-6 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Receiving, verifying, auditing and/or processing field collections;
Verifying receivables; and
Reimbursing employee's expenses in accordance with applicable regulations
