About the Position: This position is with the 63rd Readiness Division, Director, Resource Management Office located at Moffett Field, California.
Duties
Review incoming directives and publications and assure dissemination to impacted staff.
Develop procedures for implementation of required policies and regulations.
Serve as Official Mail Manager and Freedom of Information Act Officer.
Represent the Resource Management Office at meetings and conferences.
Develop methods to ensure directorate staff is in compliance with instructions.
Serve as coordinator for special programs such as Government travel card program, Management Control Plan, and training and performance management.
Coordinate logistical and administrative support for directorate staff.
Interpret regulatory directives and procedures to provide advice and assistance to the Resource Management Officer and Division Chiefs.
Analyze programs to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations to achieve required objectives.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which is includes providing advice and assistance to management and personnel regarding various administrative support functions, compiling data for manpower reports, assisting as the Official Mail Manager and Freedom of Information Act Officer, and administering records management functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration or Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
