You will serve as a CRANE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR II in the Lifting & Handling Department (R200), Crane Engineering Division (R210), Crane Maintenance Branch (R214) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will serve as the second-level supervisor for the Crane Maintenance Branch. You will plan, coordinate and direct the crane maintenance electrical and mechanical shop operations. You will determine resource requirements, tool and materials, number of subordinates, and the types of skills necessary to accomplish long-range goals. You will investigate work related problems such as delays in meeting deadlines, low productivity, poor workmanship and excessive cost. You will develop policies and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT-II Level certification.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
