About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center Managed Care at El Paso, TX.
Duties
Applies management principles, theories, techniques in the conduct of management surveys and analysis.
Serves as the senior management and program analyst and subject matter expert for the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS), DoD Tri-Service patient cost accounting system, in the Resource Management Division( RMD).
Reviews and develops of metrics and performance indicators to identify data quality problems ensuring compliance with the Data Quality Management Control Program.
Provides managers with objective, fact-based information relative to administrative and programmatic decision-making for the Military Treatment Facility.
Assists in the development of procedural change and recommendations that affect data quality.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
- This position has a Temporary Duty or business travel requirement of 5 % of the time.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

GS 07
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience assisting running internal reports from various office automation systems. Assist identifying, researching, and analyzing problem with system reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
GS 09
Specialized Experience: One year at the specialized experience in the federal service which includes documented experience which demonstrates running internal reports and data comparison from various office automation systems. Identifying and researching discrepancies, problems, and significant changes in trends. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
GS 11
Specialized Experience: One year at the specialized experience which includes, applying management principles conducting management surveys and analysis. Reviewing and developing metrics and performance indicators for the purpose of identifying data quality problems. Prepares internal reports, data comparisons, and makes recommendations. Identifies and researches discrepancies, problems, and significant changes in trends. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
