You will serve as a Combined Trades Supervisor I in the PRODUCTION RESOURCE DEPARTMENT Code 900, ELECTRICAL SHOP Code 950 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Duties

You will be responsible for training programs such as Annual Refreshers, Nuclear Skills/Techniques, Management Improvement and developing Helpers to Journeypersons. You will support training programs to meet specific needs by assigning instructors, training materials, funds, and information and statistical data. You will develop annual training plan survey to establish the training budget. You will provide consultation, evaluation and troubleshooting services to assigned personnel. You will review and evaluate the effectiveness and soundness of the training program. You will recommend improvements in course, material, methods, concepts and administering training programs.

Requirements

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
