About the position: This position will be assigned to the 49th Force Support Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base Outdoor Recreation. This position is a Flexible position (0-40 hours)

Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialist in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities. Duties will include but are not limited to: Set up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance. Takes reservations and payment for trips and tours; notifies participants of schedule changes. Decorates community, neighborhood centers or recreation centers for special events, activities, or parties. Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries. Takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment. Helps with group activities. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
