This position is located under the Boston Field Division in Boston, Massachusetts.

Qualifications

To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include: Direct a staff involved in planning, management and evaluation activities. AND Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of division programs; developing and evaluating procedures or policies. AND Provide law enforcement expertise in advising from policy, resource, and standard operating practice standpoints on long- and short-range resources and operating plans. AND Review and evaluate the projects and comprehensive reports submitted by subordinate personnel. Recommend actions to be taken based on a subordinate's work product. AND Plan, develop, and execute a program relating to division operational reviews to determine whether operational procedures, organizational structure, etc., are in accordance with established policies.
