This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the HC/HOSTING AND COMPUTE CENTER (HC112).
Duties
Participates in studies/surveys, analyzing findings and making recommendations which support assigned mission.
Prepares charts, graphs, and other visual aids which display program information and support recommendations.
Serves as an advisor to management on the effectiveness of assigned programs.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Basic Requirements:
Currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree, diploma, or certificate in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis, as defined by the educational institution.
This position requires a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. (You MUST submit transcripts or proof of education to verify your claim)
For the GG-03 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of post high school study.
For the GG-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Education
