You will serve as a Training Specialist (Learning Standards Officer) in the Advanced Training Command (ATC) of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CTR CORONADO.
Duties
You will ensure that curriculum and related components of the command?s training system reflect sound principles of instructional design, with a strong emphasis on current learning and motivational theory.
You will identify, collect, and arrange all materials required in conducting training courses for assigned subject matter area, and integrates into field manuals, mission training plans, and/or training products.
You will review and validate the quality of assigned courses and courseware through staff assistance visits to training sites, review of evaluation questionnaires, and analysis of available data.
You will conduct formative and summative evaluation of training courses.
You will ensure training is performance-oriented and responsive to the needs of the operational force.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing, evaluating or preparing medical training materials (ie. Instructor and student guides) for special operations professional development courses that support technical qualification of NSW Force medical operators; and provides in-service training, coaching, and mentorship to military and civilian staff instructors as part of instructor qualification and professional development and Master Training Specialist programs.
