This position is located within the Plant Engineering Division (PED), United States Mint, Denver. The PED is responsible for the facility and equipment maintenance and repair at the Denver Mint. PED also supports production programs for the Coining and Die Divisions.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience: For the GS-7, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Providing technical support and assisting with programs in support of facility and equipment maintenance and repair. Examples of such experience could include:-Providing support in areas such as Personal Protective Equipment, Service Contracts, Technician Training, Employee Uniforms and Office Supply Management; OR -Assisting with procurement/contracting activities relating to program support; OR -Assisting with compiling, summarizing, organizing and presenting findings to management; OR -Communicating professionally, both orally and in writing, with peers, management and customers. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-7 you must have been at the GS-6level for 52 weeks.
