About the Position: US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), US Army Garrison Fort Benning Directorate of Family & Morale, Welfare & Rec, ACS Division, Ft. Moore, GA, 31905. The "DFMWR ACS Division" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. The geography and climate are ideal for year-round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available. .

Duties

Creates, edits and submits AUTONOA tickets for CHRs and Request for Personnel Actions (RPAs). Analyzes data to create and manage spreadsheets for various reports regarding budget, manpower and organizational training. Requires the incumbent to be a Government Purchase Card (GPC) card holder and maintain accurate GPC records. Utilizes Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and other systems to complete reports and projects as required by the director or operations supervisor.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest. This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R
  • Some evening and weekend work required. Both scheduled and unscheduled overtime, to include weekend work is required.

Plan and organize work, and experience demonstrating verbal and written communications to prepare reports, policy statements and guidance, implementation plans, and presentations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Management OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting studies utilizing studies and other fact-finding techniques in order to develop recommendations to improve aspects of the program; preparing and delivering briefings to managers regarding study findings in order to recommend changes in the program; analyzing documents such as policies, procedures, directives and reports in order to identify and assess potential impacts to the program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Management, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
