The purpose is located in the Purchase Referred Care Department at the Cheyenne River Health Center (CRHC). The purpose of this position is to manage the Motor Vehicle Operator services provided by the CRHC. Primary duties include overseeing the day-to-day functions of Motor Vehicle Operators. Secondary duties including MVO driving duties, GSA fleet management for the CRHC, and coordinate MVO custodial duties with Environmental Services.

Duties

Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates. Schedules and dispatches motor vehicles, for the transportation of patients, staff and material to and from the Service Unit. Examines vehicle and equipment by visual means before, during operation and after use to determine malfunctions. Coordinates housekeeping duties with Environmental Services and Purchase Referred Care Supervisor as needed.
