This position is located at the Community Activities Center Private Party Bar. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Campbell and surrounding areas. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntary Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.

Duties

Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit of pay and Social Security Card are required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet meet state/local age requirements (18) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Highly Qualified candidates will have the following: Posses at least 1 year of bartending experience Possess an ABC (Alcohol Beverage Commission) Certification **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
