The incumbent exercises responsibility for asset planning and strategy, asset financial planning and decision making (investment and budget approval), asset performance analysis, housing and investment decision making, and approval of tenant occupancy agreements for all real property assets.Location of position: Multiple locations. We are currently filling one vacancy in one of the following locations: New York, Albany, Brooklyn, Buffalo, Islip, Syracuse, NY; Hato Rey, PR and Newark, NJ.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience performing any of the following professional asset management functions: project planning, rent pricing analysis, account management, construction and project management, variance analysis of asset performance, origination of asset and lease business plans, housing and investment decision making, formulation of operating budgets, management of project inventory; OR experience that involved selecting, prioritizing, tracking, and managing the interrelationship of organizational priorities by balancing customer, asset, and market criteria in business decisions
