This National Guard position is for a READINESS TECHNICIAN - Title 32, Position Description Number D1094000 and is part of the WI 157 MEB, Wisconsin Army National Guard.
Duties
As a READINESS TECHNICIAN - Title 32, GS-0303-8, you will represent the commander in day-to-day operations. Plans and provides assistance to ensure the required training, personnel, administration, logistics, strength and public relations objectives are achieved and requirements are accomplished. Provides overall guidance for the full-time force of the unit. Anticipates and recommends solutions for the needs of the unit in all aspects of mobilization readiness. Provides day-to-day supervision of all unit FTS employees.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-0303-08 level, you must have at least 18 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws. Experience that provided a thorough knowledge of administrative functions. Experience utilizing research tools. Experience providing guidance and setting priorities.
