Duties

Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who will assign task, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity as well as completeness. Opens or closes facilities making sure they are secure. Assist in events. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Pre-check and prepare equipment for customer as well as explain proper usage. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area to include lodging rooms, office space, outdoor recreation warehouse and other spaces as assigned. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Policies interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use. Test mechanical equipment for serviceability. Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities. Remove damaged equipment or unusable equipment from inventory. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities
• Must possess and maintain the physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis.
• A physical maybe required.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required: 1. Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. 2. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. Skills and Knowledge: Able to work alone. Know proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Know simple food handling techniques. Able to serve uniform individual portions. Avoid distractions when several guests ask for different items at the same time. Able to use simple arithmetic. These skills and experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
