Duties
You will serve as Strategic Planner and Program Manager for NSWG-3's Human Performance Program (HPP), overseeing its 4 domains: Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, Performance nutrition, and Special Projects.
You will provide oversight and direction to technical and subject matter experts responsible for the performance enhancement and rehabilitation services in each of the domains.
You will plan, develop and deliver guidance to those subject matter experts and provide programmatic and policy recommendations to the NSWG-8 Commodore
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Duration will be less than 7 days.
- You will be required to complete training and obtain and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing, implementing and insuring an overall effectiveness of the use of Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, Performance Nutrition and Special Projects along with providing associated programmatic and policy recommendations, and also overseeing, directing, guiding and supervising for those responsible in performance enhancement and rehabilitation services.
