You will serve as a Administrative Officer of RLSO SOUTHWEST SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will work closely with the other AO's (Administrative Officer) in the execution and management of command administrative programs and serves as the alternate coordinator/manager during the absence of the AO.
You will monitor the inventory of general consumables and order supplies to maintain adequate onboard stock at all times.
You will perform the necessary research required to obtain a quote from an authorized vendor.
You will provide bi-monthly budget reports to the commanding officer on the status of funding balances.
You will provide input to the chain of command on issues related to Navy pay and personnel within the command.
You will produce and maintain activity organization information and events per established procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting administrative policy in the evaluation of program proposals, to coordinate and plan administrative services for various programs. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Monitoring the inventory of general consumables and ordering supplies to maintain adequate onboard stock at all times; 2) Routinely updating staff on the status of their requests and promptly ensure receipts for supplies are submitted to the respective authorized purchaser; 3) Providing bi-monthly budget reports to the commanding officer on the status of funding balances; and 4) Producing and maintaining activity organization information and events (e.g. rosters, directories, organizational listing, recall roster, personnel locators, check-in/check-out, Plan of the Week, Plan of the Month, internal rosters) per established procedures.

Education
master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
