You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will develop and maintain computer databases to log and track equipment status. You will answer customer inquiries to provide details on their requests for work. You will navigate transportation solutions towards desired results while maintaining strong working relationships with others to accomplish mission goals. You will collect transportation data needed to meet program needs and execution objectives for transportation programs. You will assign work to project team members through selective consideration of the level of assignment difficulty, capabilities of the team members, and the deadline requirements of the assignment.

Qualifications

GS-09 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Administering training on Fleet Fuel cards and informing APC of lost, stolen or damaged credit cards; (2) Planning and coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and sequence of transportation operations; (3) Analyzing work methods and recommending implementing actions that will reduce costs and/or makes improvements to increase productivity; (4) Communicating ideas verbally or in writing to management and costumers and (5) Analyzing policy and management issues conceptualize innovative solutions and reconciling diverse viewpoints regarding all transportation operations. GS-07 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing transportation documents such as tenders, bills, invoices, and travel order for accuracies and recurring discrepancies; 2) Creating and tracking documents for work orders and purchase request; AND 3) Verifying, analyzing, and organizing information for billing operations.
