You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the FACILITIES SUSTAINMENT DIVISION, EXECUTION SUPPORT BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. COLA 9.28%

Duties

You will Eliminate or reduce constraints and bottlenecks to production control procedures. You will check status of work in process to identify potential production problems. You will coordinate detailed work plans and schedules for the production of assigned workload. You will create or manage project schedules to ensure completion of deliverables. You will compose production documents (e.g., letters, messages, reports, memorandums) related to events affecting cost, quality, schedule, or work requirements. You will brief team members to provide labor reporting and production schedules.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-07: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Providing estimating and recurring maintenance control for a maintenance and service organization; 2) Operating Microsoft software programs (i.e., Office Suite, MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel) to provide operational information for a recurring maintenance program; 3) Preventing or alleviating recurring and service delays, schedule conflicts, skilled trade imbalances, and lack of sufficient materials; and 4) Communicating orally and in writing with all levels of an organization on production control issues. GS-05: Have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Access, Word, Excel) to input, maintain, edit, and track information supporting facilities production control; 2) Tracking work requests and execution for maintenance, repairs, modifications, and installation of dynamic equipment and/or facilities; and 3) Communicating orally and in writing with various contacts within and outside the immediate organization to coordinate production control work efforts. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-05:

Have successfully completed four years of education above high school level.

OR

Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
