About the Position: Serves as an advisor to and representative of the director and deputy director, Army Outreach Division (AOD), Office of the Chief of Public Affairs (OCPA) for all Army executive outreach efforts, located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Serve as an Army-wide advisor for all executive outreach plans, events, and product development.
Serve as a data analytics expert and advisor to senior leaders.
Identify and propose new executive outreach and strategic partnership opportunities for Army Senior Leaders.
Develop long-term relationships and strategic alliances that result in enhanced awareness.
Conduct data analytics and data mining involving executive-level communications for the Agency.
Advises directors on issues involving strategic and executive outreach, to include communication plan development, policies and coordination efforts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require periodic travel, late evenings, and weekend work.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes developing communication strategies to obtain feedback on program effectiveness; making oral presentations to various internal and external groups; preparing Agency leaders to participate in speaking engagements; maintaining effective working relationships with local and national media representatives and community groups. This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
